Message | We believe in unitary government, and are not prepared to endorse these types of changes. Interestingly, the country itself is largely unitary. I wonder aloud whether the Republican Party can lose any more seats and remain viable. |

Message | And you accuse me of my making enemies in the Parliament EKP; that statement is asking for them. On the bill, no. |
Date | 17:03:02, November 09, 2005 CET | From | Ecotopian Party of Kalistan | To | Debating the The Kalistani Devolution Act |
Message | I am merely pointing out to the EKP that he is proposing large scale devolution at a time when the electorate is strongly against it. |
Date | 18:16:55, November 09, 2005 CET | From | Farmers' Militia | To | Debating the The Kalistani Devolution Act |
Message | No, I like his tactic. All the unitary voters will split up thier vote between the other 8 parties, and, theoretically, all the federalist voters will vote for him. His minority opinion outweights our divided majority. It only works if there are a large amount of voters who vote solely on the basis of federalism though. |
Date | 16:34:31, November 10, 2005 CET | From | Pansexual Peace Party -- FNORD | To | Debating the The Kalistani Devolution Act |
Message | Judging by the previous devolutionary parties that have come and gone, you need more than just federalsim to win a sisable percentage of voters. |

Random fact: Moderation will not accept Cultural Protocol updates which introduce, on a significant scale, cultures which are likely to be insufficiently accessible to players. In particular, for all significant cultures in Particracy, it should be easy for players to access and use online resources to assist with language translation and the generation of character names. Moderation reserves the right to amend Cultural Protocols which are deemed to have introduced significant cultures that are not sufficiently accessible and which are not being actively role-played with. |
