MessageMadam Speaker, we assure the UFD of our support for this Bill - given their support in the Immigration Act.

MessageMadam Speaker, what an unprincipled government this is. The Party that ratified this treaty now pulls us out of it! Madam Speaker, can the NSC guarantee the people of this nation that this is not a stepping stone to the introduction of slavery? Would they support the UFD if they introduced a slavery bill?

MessageMadam Speaker, would the CLP like an honest answer or a political answer? I think they know what we mean when we say, that unlike former coalitions the NSC will stand by decisions made by our allies and friends in the UFD. The NSC will protect the positions of minorities within Hutori despite withdrawing from this treaty.

MessageSo, Madam Speaker, this government will introduce slavery to Hutori. We have much to fear. Madam Speaker, clearly they have given a political answer. They gave us an option. Now, Madam Speaker, we would like the honest answer.

MessageMadam Speaker, we have provided the CLP with an honest answer. We will not introduce slavery, but we cannot account for the UFD. Unlike UM governments we allow our allies to introduce their own bills. The NSC seeks to protect minorities in Hutori. We would support the UFD if they decided to introduce Bills that the NSC can buy into.

MessageMadam Speaker, let me just remind the NSC that they used to criticise the UM because we used to introduce wildly different bills, so he cannot now claim that members were forbidden from introducing bills. Perhaps he could give an example of when this happened?

Madam Speaker, I did not ask the NSC if they would introduce a slavery bill. I asked:

"Would they support the UFD if they introduced a slavery bill?"

Could we have an answer please?

MessageRt Hon Baroness Marelle, Prime Minister,

Madam Speaker, if the UFD did propose a slavery Bill then the NSC would have to give serious consideration to passing it. We are in a coalition and we respect the views of our allies in the UFD. The NSC personally has no desire to introduce slavery, but if the UFD were to pass an NSC Bill in exchange for a slavery Bill we would give it serious condiseradion and contemplation.

MessageMadam Speaker, can the NSC therefore confirm that they have abandoned their commitment to civil liberties and the policy reforms that transformed them from the HNP to the NSC have been reversed?

MessageRt Hon Michael Mancini MP, NSC Frontbencher,

Madam Speaker, the NSC believe in civil liberties, but the actions of the Labour Party have meant we needed to alter the law temporarily. We believe that the state should have control over a large degree of peoples lives but the people should be entitled to lots of freedoms as well. The NSC will not go through every Civil Liberty Proposal and propose restrictions. We support the status quo for the vast majority of civil liberty proposals in this nation.

MessageMadam Speaker, even contemplating the legalisation of slavery shows how far removed from civil liberties the NSC are. Slavery is the greatest infringement of liberty imaginable. Indeed, it is the complete opposite of liberty. On a scale, total liberty would be one extreme, slavery would be the other.

MessageMadam Speaker, i thought the CLP were pro-Parliament in withdrawing from these treaties? Or are we now the 'tyrannical government' that these treaties were meant to prevent and the CLP is now back-tracking?

MessageMadam Speaker, we do support withdrawing from these treaties, but it doesn't mean that we support slavery! We are quite astounded that the NSC can even contemplate voting in favour of slavery.

MessageMadam Speaker, whatever suits the NSC as a party will recieve our yes vote. We are still undecided on the issue of slavery.

MessageMadam Speaker, we thought that the NSC supported the bills that most benefitted the country, not those that most suit the party? Is this an admission that this government rules, not in the national interest, but in the party interest?

MessageThats why we are undecided Madam Speaker, we would need to see if a slavery Bill could benefit the nation. If it did then we would accept one, if not we would oppose.
