Message | Madam Speaker, can the Prime Minister not even bother to come to Parliament to make this appointment, given how much she desired that particular power? Madam Speaker, unless the Prime Minister comes and makes the appointment in person, and shows this House some respect, CLP Members of Parliament shall refuse to accept the authority of the Speaker. |

Message | I am deeply honored to be proposed as Speaker of the House of Parliament. I will therefore renounce my political affiliation for the next ten years, the United Forces of Decay shall be led by Baal as long as it is my task to watch over the Parliament. I assure the members of the Parliament that they do not have to fear that this job is now done by someone who was the former head of one of the currently reigning parties, I will try to act as objective as possible, as long as the MPs abide to the law and do not insult or act against the government in a forbidden way. So let's start the ceremony, I am ready to talk up my new position. - Apep, former leader of the United Forces of Decay |

Message | Madam Speaker, upon closer inspection of the law, we find that actually, there is no regulation that stipulates that the Speaker must be politically neutral, nor must they be subject to a vote in Parliament. Madam Speaker, this attempt to look as though they are mollifying this chamber actually hides the truth. |

Message | Levi Hyam, MP, Chairman of the 2945 Commitee Madam Speaker, this commitee has asked me by popular vote to note to parliament that: "The proposed form of appointment for the post of speaker of parliament is not a democratic system of electing a speaker, who is supposed to be reprisentative of all the MP's in the house. As this is supposed to be an utterly democratic parliament, it is unconventional and contradictory to the concieved purpose of the house. The government will argue that the speaker is impartial, but in reality, a former head of a political party cannot be, in full concience, as they more than anyone holds to there ideological belief. Furthermore, the commitee calls on the government to denounce there alleigence to democracy and declare that they are oligarchic. Other than this, we do not call on the government for any further action. The popular vote for this action constituted of: 29 Conservative-Libertarian Party MP's 105 Provisional Religious Labour Party MP's 42 Hutori National Socialist Congress MP's 176 Voted in agreement. 121 Voted Against. |

Random fact: Cultural Protocol bills must provide a real-life equivalent or short description for the ethnic groups, languages and religions contained in them, such that it would be easy for an unfamiliar player to understand (e.g. "Dundorfian = German"). Where appropriate, they should also provide guidance to players on where to find help with translations and character names. This might include, for example, links to Google Translate, Behind the Name's Random Name Generator and Fantasy Name Generators. |
