Message | Nay and a million times nay! Tax is just a three letter word meaning state sponsored theft! By all means introduce a bill forcing all companies who utilise hazardous materials to account for the waste products. It may even be possible to persuade us to support a bill that punishes a person or company that harms the environment beyond a stated degree. However to introduce a tax on all companies (who after all earn 100% of the money this country makes, government earns nothing), just in case they may polllute is approaching this potential problem from fundamentally the wrong direction. |

Message | I am willing to drop the Taxation, but they must be held accoutable for all actions and must pay the price of the Transportation, Handling, and containment of waste and bio and or chemical waste. As well as pay for any clean up and fine cost for mishandling of dangerious materials. |

Message | If you were to amend this proposal to remove the taxation. I may be able to support such a bill. The bones could be :- 1. A list of substances deemed hazardous be listed. 2. All companies handling such substances must give full details on how such substances are handled and how any waste is dealt with. 3. Any pollution beyond stated acceptable limits that can be traced to a company, or individual must be cleaned to the standard of the surrounding area prior to the pollution occurring. The cost of such clean-up operations must be met 100% by the company or individual proven to have caused such pollution. |
