Bill: Legislative Office
Details
Submitted by[?]: Conservative Republic Independent Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 2046
Description[?]:
This bill upon passage of the legislature shall be enacted. It provides for the creation of a oversight office that investigates anything that the Legislature deems necessary. It only takes one party to initiate a vote on investigation. The office only has power to investigate that which the Supreme leader of the country permits unless the investigation shows conclusive evidence that the Supreme Leader of the country is dabbling in suspicious endeavors for personal or cabinet gain, (if a cabinet so exists); if so, and an investigation shows evidence of abuse of power or any evidence of retrieving power from the Legislature than the Legislature can then impeach the Supreme leader of the country and conspire to overthrow the Supreme leader by a vote of 50% of the party membership. |

Message | I guess so...but unfortunately, the game wouldn't allow for this to be enforced unless the impeachment is an early election. (In which case you need 50% of the vote, not 75%). |

Random fact: When you join the game, you will find yourself with only zero seats. That's because your party's representatives haven't been elected yet. You need to establish your party's position on issues by proposing several bills that your party wants passed and sending them to vote. This raises your visibility and if you do it enough, you will win seats at the next election. |
Random quote: "The main problem of the left is that it has been traditionally divided and unable to reach agreements between different leftist views, whilst the right has almost always moved in the same direction by giving concessions to different rightist points of view." - Aelius Celer, former Selucian politician |
