Message | I would urge the Republican Party not to consider their continued participation worthless and their evolution towards secularism will, I believe, stand them in good stead at the coming elections. My preferred option would be: "The state subsidizes the phone service of low income families, and regulates the rates providers can charge for phone service". If you wish to make phone services free, they must come out of general revenue and this means a terminal of all private corporate involvement in telecommunications. I have no problems with aspects of socialism, per se, but I do have a problem with this bill's potential to threaten the general stability of the economy by overspending. Maybe if we could cut the defence budget.......no, I didn't think so. |
