MessageJust because this is your morality doesnt mean that in a democracy everyone else should be forced to abide by it.

MessageAdultery is illegal, but not prosecuted? It's all the excitement of doin' somethin' illegal with none of the consequences! I could support that, but not the other articles.

Just because this is a democracy doesn't mean the people can't elect a party that stands against civil rights. More people elected me (this time) than any other party, they know my record and thus I can assume that they will stand behind my bill.

I am bound by my constituency to propose bills that are congruent with my party platform, so I would be doing my electors a disservice *not* to propose this bill.

MessageFar more people voted for every other party as opposed to the SCI. Plurality means nothing and certainly doesnt give a mandate for forcing your party's specific morality on the majority who thought SCI's policies are so good that they didnt vote for you.

I'm not saying the country as a whole told me to do this, I'm saying my party supporters told me to propose bills congruent with my platform. There are a lot of sick and twisted people out there, SLD, and they all vote for me. :)
