Bill: The Reform Act of 2976
Details
Submitted by[?]: Alliance of Social Democrats
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2977
Description[?]:
This bill contains sweeping reforms of legislative practices in Luthori. The number of proposals awarded to parties in the Diet, per year, will remain at five; however, parties may accumulate more proposals under this system. Parties that are supportive of established policies tend to accumulate quota. However, if these such parties were to fall out of the majority, and established policies were to be overturned, then under the current system they would not have much of an opportunity to conserve past legislation. The new system fixes this by giving them the broad legislative abilities necessary to conserve the status quo. The minimum wage provision in this bill will serve to put more money in the pockets of the working families, which in turn will provide a larger market for producers, boosting our economy. |

Message | Mr Speaker, We have no specific opposition to article 1, however, due to our free market policies, we oppose article 2 although we understand the ASD's sentiment and have no opposition to that. Article 3 we must oppose for the current number was reformed as to prevent a stalemate. I yield. |
