Message | The current summary breakdown of our budget is the following: Revenue 759,938,029,081 GAD Expenses 433,001,000,000 GAD Surplus 326,937,029,081 GAD Clearly increasing spending from 433,001,000,000 GAD to 469,301,000,000 GAD is not a drastic increase, but is a good introductory increase for government to work with. The only department that did not get an increase was the Head of Government as we view it as more of a reserve for money to be moved around in case of an emergency. Random quote: "Who are the militia? Are they not ourselves? Is it feared, then, that we shall turn our arms each man gainst his own bosom. Congress have no power to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birthright of an American...[T]he unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments, but, where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people." - Tenche Coxe |
