MessageThe SDA supports an individuals liberty to exclude themselves from subjects where they have moral or religious objections to such teachings. It is for these reasons that we will be supporting this proposal.

MessageThank you. We were staggered with just how unjust, unliberal and dictatorial this measure was at the time, we are happy with years of campaigning, students and parents now have a choice back that is rightly there own.

MessageAs stated whilst we would prefer children receive sexual education we agree with the Conservative Party stance that (in this unusual case) lines up with the SDLP's liberal tradition of that being afforded the offering of education, it is also the individuals' right to not wish to receive such information. Hopefully this will set a precedent for more agreement between our parties in the future *fingers crossed*
