Message"The single coproration mentioned in Article 1 of this Act, shall be a newly created private yet publically-endorsed and scrutinised company known as Solentian National Grid. They shall be supervised by the Secretary of State for Science and Technology though his Department may not act executively within it's halls. It shall be a quasi-autonomous non-governmental organisation that may be removed by this Senate at will."

MessageThe SDLP opposes Article 1 as it creates a private monopoly, something far worse than a government one when considering everyday Solentian citizen power bills, private companies will certainly be unlikely to show any mercy. The SDLP however would support Article 2 were it separately forwarded in Senate
