Voting deadline: May 2140
Description[?]:
The Farmers' Milita plan for social reform; 1- Kinda economics, in being able to sell guns more readily, and somewhat liberty. We should let them have guns if they aren't dangerous. It's every man's right be be able to defend his home. 2- I like PIMPs, but not pimps. And really, I am religious, the small benefit this brings the the economy does more harm to our national well-being, culture, and values. When you were a pimply little 16 year old, would it have been better to go out and buy your first time, or was it better that the first time wasn't paid for, and something meaningul (hopefully) to the both of you? This encourages population growth too, cause prostitues aren't looking for kids, only money. 3- Woah, I totally breezed over this one when writing the description. Yeah, this is for religious reasons. Mostly. Even if I weren't religious, seeing people making out and groping in public is just not suitable. 4- I still don't like it, but this is better than letting people destroy themselves with whatever paint thinner (or much, much worse) that they can afford. 5- I didn't outlaw porn on TV, just limited it's times. In my opinion, the adults can wait to see thier porn, they don't have to have it during the saturday cartoons. |

Message | Article 1 - OK. We can live with the idea of a people's militia. Now if only we could convince somebody of the need to wind back the professional military......anyone? Article 2 - While I am not entirely happy with the whole concept of selling oneself to make a living, I do appreciate that, for some people, this is a preferred option (I use to live in an apartment with two). Additionally, it addresses some alienation and pressures that modern society places on people. I understand that most holy books frown on it, but I am not now, nor will I ever be, a religious person, and to me that is the whole concept behind a ban on it. Article 3 - I couldn't endorse this simply because a) I don't understand what it means and b) I prefer people not to feel inhibited about their bodies. Article 4 - Well, everybody knows where I stand on this one. I have never supported prohibition, as I think it makes an unsafe situation even more dangerous. Article 5 - See part b of Article 3. In short, separate Article 1 into a separate bill and it will get my vote. The rest, I simply can't stomach. |

Message | Cannabis, as far as I know, is a type of marijuana. The current option means that anything that people find that can make them see funny colors is ok to take. And it doesn't stop at just what they find (paint thinner), there will be markets for all sorts of drugs produced to incur the maximum possible effect. Think LCD, or exstacy... these are drugs we are allowing for the sake of 'people not to feel inhibited about thier bodies.' These are nasty drugs that will ruin your mind after few uses, and kill you if you take very much. Allowing these things to run rampant for the sake of letting people do what they want with thier bodies is not acceptable. Besides, do you know what type of hazardous waste is produced by people making LCD? The waste produced by making the drug is an environmental disaster, and is near impossible to clean up. |
