Bill: Cabinet of National Unity (Anti-Nuncpart and Reactionarism) of September 2986

Details

Submitted by[?]: Social Renewal Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2987

Description[?]:

The great people of Solentia have honoured me with the Supreme Presidency and I promise to serve them in this most prestigious of offices as diligently as I am able.

Likewise, the people have also shown they wish to have a divided Senate where no ideological grouping, formal or informal, has the majority. It is clear, however, that a clear majority of Solentians are opposed to Nuncpartism and the vile extremities of the reactionary forces.

I therefore propose this Cabinet of National Unity. It will bring together a diverse range of political parties with a clear majority that will through the practice of mutual respect and goodwill be able to deliver a stable government for the deserving citizens of our Federal Republic.

Oscar Taberon

Random fact: In cases where players introduce RP laws to a nation and then leave, Moderation reserves the discretion to declare the RP laws void if they appear to have fallen into disuse. In particular, please bear in mind that a player who is inexperienced with Particracy role-play and has joined a nation as the only party there should not generally be expected to abide by RP laws implemented by previous players who have been and left.
