Message | "The Unionist Bloc cannot lend support to this measure. We find it to be too-high a price for the national good and we find it to be in opposition with the very basis of Unionism." Thomas Roen, 2616 Committee Chairman. |

Message | The SDWU believes this is a common sense measure to support. What if government requires space to urgently expand our ports or build a vital transport link. Such a measure would only be used when absolutely necessary, and we ask the opposing parties to reconsider their position, as the continuation of such a policy reduces the governments scope to implement important infrastructure, which could lead to negative impacts on the economy and livelihoods of Solentians.
