Message | Once again, as stated earlier, I don't see the problem with one state run television and one state run tv network. Such networks are useful in order to air parliamentary debates, parliamentary investigations and committee meetings, and other trite and boring things that private, profit driven broadcasters won't show, but which the public nonetheless ought to have the right to see or hear. |

Message | VBS, there are some ideas I liked, some I didn't. By taking these to debate individually, I might be able to gtet more votes than alltogether, and find out which issues I can't pass and which ones I can't. Message | I agree with this bill, VBS' bills sometimes contain some decent proposals and so from now on we'll just have to strip them down into individual bills like this which are more than acceptable. |

Message | C-SPAN is the congressional channel in the US, I'm fairly certain it is government owned. I can say, without any hesitation that CPAC, its Canadian equivalent, is government owned (as is its French sister station). |

Message | But the people ought to have the right to access some information, even where its not profitable. Seenig this assembly, for instance, ought to be everyone's right, regardless of the fact that it is not a profitable commodity. |

Date | 16:07:37, November 13, 2005 CET | From | Seleucus Nicator | To | Debating the Media Privatization Bill |
Message | It would appear not, seeing as parties that have no seats are able to view (and participate in) it. |
Date | 03:23:47, November 14, 2005 CET | From | Selucian Sovereignty Party | To | Debating the Media Privatization Bill |
Message | No, it isn't. but given we are a nation of three Islands, citizens can't just walk up the street and view sessions without effort. By ensuring there is a parliamentary channel offered by the government, anyone, regardless of location, can have immediate access to debates and proceedings, thereby helping to ensure transparent government. |
