MessageThe SDWU supports the rights of the unborn, from a purely secular moral position.

MessageThe SDWU claims to be the leading voice of the progressive left in Solentia and yet they continuously and callously betray women on this issue! They'd rather the state intervene and establish rights for potential life rather than for life itself.

We in the Left Renewal Alliance are beyond dismayed their position. Our endorsement of the SDWU in the Supreme Presidential election is now in doubt.

Does the SDWU support the rights of the undead too?

MessageWe are a voice of the progressive left as is your party, however despite our similarities (our parties have voted the same way 74% of the time) we can only support abortion in extreme circumstances. We have consistently supported ready access to contraceptives, we have supported euthanasia where an individual is terminally ill and in these circumstances we believe it is warranted as the individual has the right to speak up for him or herself. So to answer your question yes we do support the rights of the "undead".

We dispute your assertion that our policy is a betrayal to women. As stated before, we fully support the use of contraceptives and see it is as the responsibility of both men and women of Solentia to ensure that if they do not wish to have children they use these readily available products. We should all understand that our decisions effect others and we cannot simply take away a human life for the sake of convenience. There are many Solentians out there who have no the ability to bear a child and would gladly take care of children conceived from unwanted pregnancies.

It is clear that this an emotive and difficult issue, and we would be disappointed if this led to your party's disendorsement of us or but ultimately the SDWU believes that we must protect those without a say in whether they live or die.

MessageThis would give rise to partial birth abortions and infanticide. No, certainly, no.

Random quote: "The Revolution needs to progress. We as humans need to evolve into higher beings through better moral virtues. And we can achieve that if we clean ourselves from the immoral. Those who go against the Revolution, go against human progress and must be freed in the most humane way possible. That is why we introduced the guillotine." - Maximus Robertson, former Davostani revolutionary
