Submitted by[?]: We Say So! Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 2140

Description[?]:

In order to balance the choice of bringing a child to term whilst also guaranteeing that when said child becomes self aware that it is not stripped of its ability of life, the Government will allow for an embryo to be aborted up to and including the 20th week of pregnancy (midway through the second trimester).
Should there be a medical reason (the life of the Mother is endangered) then the feotus can be removed after the 20 week deadline, however this is to be used in extreme cases only where it is deemed impossible for the removed baby to survive should a caesarean be unviable.
