Message | The Morality Party can call this unwise and cowardly, there is nothing unwise and cowardly about us standing up for our principles. We have never and will never, be a party that supports 50% tax rates for anyone of any income. The reason budget which passed, saw a major increase in public spending and we do not support this rise as it will only limit the work the private sector can do as well as increase taxes once more on the Middle incomes and above who have to pay out for services they may not even use. These tax rates are unacceptable and wil stand up for hard workers and for people to have as much of their own money as is possible. There is nothing cowardly about that. Message | "Absolute trash. The Conservatives would have us locked in recession for good. I call upon the Senate Warden to have the Conservatives removed for deliberately trying to ruin the economy. Out with them I say!" Caleah Kos, Outspoken CMP Backbencher |

Message | You cannot have an elected party removed from senate, for disagreeing with your own parties opinions. A party which has far more right to be here than your own, election after election we may add. Coleen Power Shadow Finance |

Message | "Out with them! Destroyers of the economy! Bringers of death! Heretics one and all!" Caleah Kos, Outspoken CMP Backbencher. *CMP Chief Whip Lars Halvorsen, has Mr. Kos removed quietly.* "At any rate, when in recession, revenue is required. It is the hight of irrisponsibility to do otherwise." Eoife O'Toole, CMP Vice-Chancellor. |

Message | Perhaps Mrs. Kos could do with seeing a professional health worker? In the mean time, we cannot support rates of tax of over 50%, that has always been our opinion, our policy and one our Conservative supporters would not wish to see us reverse on, it would upset them greatly to see us not standing up for the rights of earnings and hard workers. Date | 14:50:43, September 16, 2010 CET | From | Sue's Corner | To | Debating the Harrison Taxation Bracket of August 3000 |
Message | This debate goes around in circles when you have to deal with immature people, who continually call you spineless for sticking by your spine and your policies when they do the opposite and change their party name, values and constitution on a week by week basis. That is pathetic. We have nothing more to say on this. Unless a sensible party wishes to ask us a question of course. Coleen Power Shadow Finance |
Date | 15:08:46, September 16, 2010 CET | From | Conservative Party of Solentia | To | Debating the Harrison Taxation Bracket of August 3000 |
Message | "Today the Conservatives worry about the rich paying 50 percent, yesterday they worried about the poor paying 14. Would no taxation please your party, Ms. Power? Would you have anarchy? What is the Conservative's interest in maintaining this system of government?" Martin Beckons |
Date | 15:18:42, September 16, 2010 CET | From | Sue's Corner | To | Debating the Harrison Taxation Bracket of August 3000 |
Message | We firmly believe in a system where the poor and the rich pay less tax, because we believe not in nationalising everything, but in privatising where possible. This would save the state billions upon billions and offer more efficent services. This is why we have proposed a privatization bill. We recognise that the current system needs more money as the national/public sector is so overwhelemed, but as we opposed burdening the state in this way, we don't see why we should or would support increasing the budget or indeed taxes. This is not what our party stands for. Coleen Power Shadow Finance |

Message | "Traitors." Kirk Harrison, Minister of Finance |
Date | 15:39:09, September 16, 2010 CET | From | Sue's Corner | To | Debating the Harrison Taxation Bracket of August 3000 |
Message | Why do the SSCP and CMP reply with one word answers such as - traitors, or spineless? If we had said lets tax the rich to the point of no return, if we had said lets nationalise everything, then I could see the argument. However, this was not what was said and we have been consistent with our position and therefore stuck by our spine and not betrayed our loyal supporters. Coleen Power Shadow Finance |
