Message | We shall support the new government on the conditions the LDP and CPD agree to accept that after each election a 'vote of confidence' must be entered into parliament as a bill and pass with a majority of votes to decide if the current government has the democratic legitimacy to continue governing. If a bill of confidence cannot be passed an early election must be called, with the process to be repeated until a government with majority support can be established. The second condition will be the LSR ministerial representation (in our case cabinet committees for each cabinet position) will make independent recommendations in the form of bills without prior having to gain the support of either the LDP or CPD and may seek the support of other non-government parties to pass this legislation. If the proposed governing parties cannot reach a consensus in regards to our conditions the LSR is afraid it cannot in good faith commit to coalition government. |
