| NOTE: Changes the name of the nation to "Trei Regate din Kizenia" (Three Kingdoms of Kizenia). That alone would require a 2/3 vote, but the other elements to this act also require 2/3s. Effective upon the passage of this act, Constitutional Change will be granted within our great nation, forthwith: 1) Command of the Armed Forces shall remain invested in the Crown, with Her Viceroy, Her Prime Minister and Her Minister of Defense as her first Lieutenants, having the power to command the Armed Forces of the Kingdom to defend first the Crown, and second the lands and interests of the Kingdom and her people. 2) The Crown shall recognize the political entity or faction able to command a majority of the Parliament as her Ministers, irrespective of bloodlines. 3) The Crown shall grant unto the People the power to choose a Viceroy, whom shall handle the lesser details of the Executive branch of the government, without undue interference, to protect the interests of the Crown and of the Kingdom. 4) The nation shall here forth be known as the "Trei Regate din Kizenia" (Three Kingdoms of Kizenia). The three Kingdoms referenced shall be titled the Kingdom of Kizenia, the Empire of Kuzaki, and the Duchy of Sodali. 5) The Kuzaki Diet and Sodali Soviet shall retain self-rule granted under the Confederation, where such grant does not interfere with the greater Constitution. Where legislation is required on a national basis, the Kizenian Parliament will continue to assert primacy, insofar as it continues to admit duly elected members from the other Kingdoms. 6) That the Monarch of the nation shall be styled as Queen of Kizenia whenever on Kizenian soil or abroad, Empress of Kuzaki whenever within the historic boundaries of Kuzaki, and Regent of Sodali whenever upon Sodali soil. And that her heir apparent shall be styled as the Duchess of Sodali, whereever in the world she may be. With the caveat that the male equivalent of such titles shall be applied whenever the appropriate royal is a male. 7) The crowns of Kizenia, Kuzaki and Sodali are hereby forever united, and shall invested in Silvia, and her heirs, as confirmed by the Royal Council on Succession, which shall be composed of the branches of the Anais Clans, and shall select as heirs those descendants of Jade whom shall be found suitable by the Council, and the Parliament shall confirm such selections as needed. The Reigning Monarch shall have free reign to name an heir within the limitations listed herein, but may not name her own blood descendant without the consent of the Council and Parliament. If the Reigning Monarch passes without so naming an heir, the Council shall select in her absence, and the Parliament shall confirm. |
