Message | The corporation profits tax brings in approximately 10% of the annual budget of the nation. Right now we're very close to a balanced budget, running a 90 billion NED deficit (out of a 4.5 trillion NED total). The corporate tax brings in 442 billion. If this passes (actually, given the current votes, _when_ this passes) the deficit will jump to about 532 billion, which will be an appreciable fraction of the total. |
