We believe that this would give the nation energy security, and would prevent our energy supply been used as a tool against us by foreign companies. It would also mean that the energy companies controlling the grid would no longer be able to keep our poorest citizens in a state of 'energy poverty' as they have done in the past. Would other parties please let us know their thoughts before we add proposals to this bill? |
