Message | Mr. Speaker, How can it be that the Democratic Party clearly supports they follow Patriotism and yet they propose this? I yield. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, We are on the fence with this issue. While the LP does not wish to compel any person of any age to something that they would not like to do, a majority of LP members do respect and have understanding for singing the national anthem. Therefore, would both parties agree to a future proposal which instead states: "Children are not made to sing the national anthem, but are required to show respect when it is played at the commencement of school each day." |

Message | Mr. Speaker, No, we would not accept any other alternative. Once more, this is yet another example of new parties having a complete lack of respect for our nation's past. I yield. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, If the restriction of freedom has been the legacy of this nation's past, then I wish to create a future in which liberty thrives. I yield. |
