MessageMr. Speaker,

Spending a reasonably small amount of time in paid employment offers children an opportunity to gain in confidence and skills, as well as earn a bit of money. We see no reason to object to children working, so long as it is safe, is not exploitative and does not interfere with schooling or general socialisation.

MessageSchools can offer them the possibility of working and expand the students' skills without having an actual job and they can get paid, and the work won't interfere with their education.
