Bill: Prayer in State Schools

Details

Submitted by[?]: Zapatista Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2141

Description[?]:

We would like to see the forcing of school prayers in public, state schools forbidden. At the moment it would seem our old value encourages religion in schools. Those who grow up in, say, a religious family might go chose to send their child to a state school not knowing that their children are being made to pray to a different god and different religion. This should reassure families that no matter what school they send their child, they will not be made to pray for a god they dont beleive in.

Random fact: When your party holds the foreign affairs department, you can create new treaties. However, before writing anything new, it is a good idea to search for existing treaties which already accomplish what you desire.

Random quote: "It is obvious that the laissez-faire ideology represents the interests of big business. For decades, the right-wing has opposed welfare programs and nationalised companies, in favour of big business disguised under 'economic liberty'." - Cecilia Xu, former Gaduri politician
