Message | Christopher Goldsworth, Education and Culture spokesperson (Conservative Party), Mr. Speaker, They're at it again! Binding Hutori to their disgraceful policies, this is a disgrace! |

Message | Rt Hon Karl Harrod, Prime Minister, Mr Speaker, typical. They say we cannot take scrutinisation! Mr Speaker, how is anything in their speech an attempt at scrutinising NSC policy? Exactly Mr Speaker, the Tories are just full of personal attacks and noting more. No substance at all! |

Message | Christopher Goldsworth, Education and Culture spokesperson (Conservative Party), Mr. Speaker, Because they know we're right. Why else would they be passing this treaty? They'll claim its for socialist ideals but a true socialist party would tolerate freedom of the individual such as the right to religion. |

Message | Rt Hon Karl Harrod, Prime Minister, Mr Speaker, international treaties are beneficial to the Hutorian state. This Treaty makes our education system secular and for the better. Our Hutorian children should not have religion forced upon them. School is about educating people for future jobs, not brainwashing them through religous propaganda! |

Message | Christopher Goldsworth, Education and Culture spokesperson (Conservative Party), Mr. Speaker, International treaties bind Hutori domestic law and can make it impossible to change it. Whatever the issue is on we will oppose international treaties from now on. Religious schools would be, of course, optional. Personal choice being something that the HNSC does not understand... the people of Hutori are clever enough to make up their own minds. |

Message | Rt Hon Karl Harrod, Prime Minister, Mr Speaker, obviously this Treaty can be repealed by the parties opposite if they gain enough support. So what are they complaining about? |

Message | Christopher Goldsworth, Education and Culture spokesperson (Conservative Party), Mr. Speaker, Then why does your party feel it necessary to bind Hutori's law? |
Date | 23:50:54, December 02, 2010 CET | From | Hutorian Conservative Party | To | Debating the Ratification of the Secular Education Treaty |
Message | Rt Hon Karl Harrod, Prime Minister, Mr Speaker, we feel it neccessary in order to re-affirm Hutori's stance as a secular state on an international stage. The idea behind this policy is that we do not want religion to corrupt our young people and we are reiterating that stance by ratifying the treaty. Treaties can obviously be overturned. It takes what? Nine months to introduce a Bill and vote to repeal the treaty. Then they can introduce whatever policy the people of Hutori have deemed suitable. A term of government is four years in Hutori so that is more than enough time to reform the country as the government sees fit. Mr Speaker, that more than answers the gentlemans question. We may now turn our attention to actual policy through debating issues that will change the current state of Hutori. |
Date | 00:13:15, December 03, 2010 CET | From | Hutorian Workers Party (LL) | To | Debating the Ratification of the Secular Education Treaty |
Message | HWP Leader, Jeremy Douglas, Mr Speaker, we would just like to re-declare our stance on international treaties. We oppose all non-socialist treaties and this one falls in that category. |
