MessageI propose a coalition with the two parties I seem to vote with on most issues. Because I'm emperor, I believe the Imperial Consul ought to be from another party. I propose that LP get that honour, since UIP has had two terms with that honour already.

For his commitment to balanced budgets, I also give LP the Finance portfolio.

For his commitment to foreign affairs, and his excellent handling of affairs with Hobrazia, I give Foreigh Affairs to UIP.

I kept Justice and Defence for myself, as I have an afinity for both those portfolios. I divided the rest of the portfolios amongst the various parties.

If anyone has any suggestions or views, feel free to make them known to me.

MessageI'm sad to lose finance, the current budget situation is because of a disastrous piece of legislation which I am going to repeal immediately and I would enjoy the opportunity to get us out of this.

MessageI'll await what LP has to say. If LP is willing to trade Finance for another department (maybe foreign affairs), then I have no problem proposing a different cabinet.

MessageEven though we're (unsurprisingly) not included, the Victory Front supports this cabinet.

MessageAn odd arangement of power, to put a smaller party in the HEad of Government position, no?

Not that I have anything bad to say about these positions, as I am a party very much concerned with economics.

MessageSSP sacrifieces just as much as is needed to be in the governement. I don't regret the people in Selucia: after 42 months without a governement, we will have this monster.

MessageI just believe in checks and balances, LP. I'd prefer not to be emperor and HOG. Since UIP got the honour twice, I thought I'd spread it around. What is your thought on possibly trading Finance with another position?

MessageWell, sure, if you really want to. Afraid of a small-intervention thinker in a seat of economic power?

MessageNo - I chose you because I trust your neo-classical economic instincts. My thought was UIP ought to have the chance to clean up what he perceives to be is his error. However, given that he already has done that with the introduction of the Tarrif reduction bill, I am feeling more comfortable with my initial cabinet, and will send it to a vote "as is". I think this cabinet puts everyone in the position that is best suited to them, and therefore, I will follow my instincts.
