Messagei don't like increasing the Tax burdon on Business to kick start the econonmy. If you want a kick to the economy cut taxes on business, and lower the tax rate on the wealthy. less money taken by the government, more money to invest and spend.

Firstly, I have cut income tax on the wealthy. Secondly, wealthy =/= venture capitalist. Wealth is not necessarily always invested and it is quite frequently spent on materialistic needs, hence the higher luxury tax. Thirdly, 25% is hardly a large burden on businesses (OOC: considering RL nations, like Australia, tax around 33%) and I agree that it wont help the economy but then, I never said it would. Ideally consumer products are now cheaper and people have more money to spend (since the income tax has been cut down likewise) so people will buy more stuff. This money goes through the corporations in profit and then both the greater amount of profit and the higher tax will ensure revenue stays above spending.

You have problems accepting lower income taxes? Well, as a socialist I guess you feel that stealing people's money is fine and the more the better.

I have problems accepting lower income taxes for the insanely rich, yes? I see no jack up for those earning more than 100,000 BLD as before.

Another wishy-washy proposal by a liberal party who doesn't seem to care for the lower class as much as the bourgeoisie and big business. And they claim they have a mandate from the people!

Random fact: Party candidates for head of state elections are not visible to the public. This means that you cannot see who will run and who will not, which adds another strategic element to the elections.
