Bill: Employment Freedom Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Darnussian Reform Conservative Alliance
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 3051
Description[?]:
1. Allowing minors to contribute to the economy is not only beneficial to the well being of businesses (small included) but it also allows the child to learn life skills, develop independence, gain an understanding of money and stay out of trouble while not in school. What kind of totalist nation wishes to ban part time jobs for junior high school students? Provinces will regulate appropriately as it is in their best interest. 2. Allowing the government to say that a person cannot go beyond a certain level of income is immoral and not economically sound. In the form of an immorality, it shows the selfishness of those who do not support successful workers. No one has the right to stop the progress of another, as this is an infringement of individual rights. In terms of economics, this halts productivity. People with money do not hoard it, as this is against their own self interest and their will to become rich. They will spend this money in other areas of the economy, as well as investing in other businesses and employing people in their own. Once a person reaches this maximum income, they will stop increasing their own productivity as it will not benefit them to do so. The well being of a nation is directly related to its productivity. |
