MessageAs we have previously explained, all these laws are in place for a reason.

Articles 1&3 - morale, when a female is mixed in with male combat troops, they stop acting on their training and start acting on their instincts, this has been proven in multiple studies and indeed, in combat. the same goes for homosexuals, except that they undermine morale in a completely different way.

Article 2 - All citizens of Lodamun shall do basic military training and service for the period of three months, this equips them with the necessary skills to mount an expert insurgency against any hostile invaders that may defeat the conventional army in battle, this has happened before in my time in congress (as the Free Peoples Party about 500 years ago), and as Likatonia re-arms, so must we.

We can see that this bill was submitted with good intentions, but the laws are in place for a god reason.

MessageThe fact is that allowing more people to serve will only make the army stronger. Also, mandatory service is not needed since the backward Likatonian military poses no serious threat. Any invasion could easily be pushed back with far fewer troops. Using this red herring is a cheap political tactic.
