Bill: Nuclear weaponry in warfare

Details

Submitted by[?]: Bürgerlichen Soziale Union

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 3054

Description[?]:

Nuclear Weaponry should not be used for any reason, even we don't agree to that. Although it can be and we are excused from using it when a enemy attacks us with biological/chemical/nuclear weaponry. Therefore, we could counter-attack. Although it is true "fighting force with force is never a good thing" in warfare it is a neccesity, while we must think of out citizens.

MessageUntil a technology for safe, permanent containment of radioactive wastes has been developed and tested, it is irresponsible to continue producing nuclear weapons. The moratorium on nuclear power takes on an added element of urgency when the careless record of the government in handling wastes is taken into consideration.

MessageMr. Speaker,

The use of nuclear weapons is profoundly immoral, which means the construction and ownership of such weapons is also immoral. We cannot see any benefit in the use of these hideous weapons. A world scarred by the fall-out of nuclear warfare would be a much poorer place to live in.

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, special care must be taken to ensure realism is maintained when role-playing a government controlled by an ethnic and/or religious minority. If it is to be supposed that this government is supported by a majority of the population, then this should be plausibly and sufficiently role-played. The burden of proof is on the player or players role-playing such a regime to demonstrate that it is being done realistically

Random quote: "If it were proved to me that in making war, my ideal had a chance of being realized, I would still say 'No' to war, for one does not create human society on mounds of corpses." - Louis Lecoin
