Bill: Legislative Act (B)

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 3054
Description[?]:
We here, propose a change in the number of representatives from every region. Just because one region is smaller in population, and the other one larger, does not mean that the larger one should have more representatives. We should have equal representation, which would give each region a fair chance with a fair amount of seats. |

Old value:: A proportional algorithm that gives a very small advantage to larger regions.

Message | Mr. Speaker, This legislation would make the votes of citizens living in smaller regions worth more than the votes of those living in larger regions. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, That is pure nonsense. That is exactly what we are trying to avoid. This legislation would allow all the citizens to have equal representation; not making one party's vote worth more, or the another ones. The purpose is, to simply have equal and fair representation, which currently is not given; and gives larger regions to big of an advantage over the other ones. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Larger regions have more seats because they include larger numbers of citizens, and smaller regions have less seats because they include a smaller number of citizens. That is fair. Every vote should be worth the same, regardless of which region you live in. |
