Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 3055

Description[?]:

In order to encourage the decent and fair treatment of prisoners of war across Terra, it is important for Dorvik to abide by the established international conventions. If we won't agree to treat our prisoners of war fairly, how can we then exert pressure on other nations to do the same?

MessageMr. Speaker,
We cannot rely on international laws; nor should we accept them. Prisoners of war, are men (or women) that have fought with out country, killed our men; and most likely destroyed our property.
While no one said Dorvik puts the pressure on other nations to do the same. Once this law was changed, we did not acknowledge it, therefore we (My government) did not pressure nor tell any nations how to treat Prisoners of War.
So that accusation, is not valid.

Random fact: Large scale RP planning (such as wars, regional/continental conflicts, economic collapse, etc.) should be planned (as best as it can be) and should have consent of a majority of players involved.

Random quote: "Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, from those who are cold and are not clothed. The world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children." - Dwight D. Eisenhower
