Message | Mr. Speaker, We also dislike seeing our national flag dishonoured, but is this law really justified? Isn't it excessive? And what about freedom of expression? |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Freedom of expression has its limits. With that logic we could have no civil order. Of course this law is justified. The reason for this law is simple. It is a symbol of our nation, our people and us overall. Although my party argues the flag is not the best representation of the nation itself, because it really is not, it is still the national flag. And everyone should respect it. |

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
