Bill: OOC: Language and conduct
Details
Submitted by[?]: Communist Party of Darnussia
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 3061
Description[?]:
With a party called the "Ku Klux Klan" arrived, there is no doubt there is going to be trouble and tensions. I thought I'd just try to make sure everybody is happy about the future. Here are my lenient proposals: 1. OOC or IC racist terms, words or phrases are completely forbidden and will result in an immediate reporting to moderators. 1.1. If there is disagreement whether a term is racist or not, it will be put to the vote and decided democratically, unless one player is directly offended in which they may veto and report the accused to a moderator themselves. 2. IC "racism" is allowed, as long as it is within reason and completely IC. Direct insults or a deliberate attempt at offending a race, religion or ethnic group is forbidden. 2.1. OOC: "racism" is forbidden, and will be dealt with in the same manner set out in article 1.1. 3. All swear words IC and OOC are forbidden. Disagreement over whether a word was offensive will be dealt with in the same manner as 1.1. 3.1 IC swear words can be used when quoting a character as long as they are censored with at least the first vowel replaced by a (*) and as long as they do not breach article 1. This is basically common sense to vote "yes", as it still allows for parties to hold extreme views IC, and is designed for a richer and more pleasant game experience. |

Message | Hutori has had dealings with Darnussia in the past - especially the Communist Party of Darnussia. We know them to be a honorable party. Their actions to introduce this Bill shows that they have some common decency as do the others who voted in favour of this law. As we read this Bill anyone who voted against is a simple minded delusional bigot. It shows how simple the KKK party is whenever they cannot even spell the narrow minded organisation they wish to emulate. Idiots. |

Message | I thank chamon for his kind and encouraging words. I have always enjoyed working with Hutori, and the Hutori Nazi Party, and I feel your comments are a good morale boost in the present climate of tension, both IC and OOC. |

Message | I thank the Hutori for their wise comments. Obviously they are well are of the game rule that states you cannot name your party after a real-life organization; if they weren't aware of it you would think that they would have made fun of us for not being able to spell the narrow minded organisation we wish to emulate. |

Message | Obviously the KKC player is much more stupid than he already appears - is that possible? - cause his masterclass in repeating what we just said is uncanny! Besides the point it humors us that he would even bother to respond given his clear and apparant stupidity. I guess those with racist ideas must answer all comments in a vain attempt to justify their ridiculous beliefs? |
