Message | Common sense. We support. |

Message | I do not think that there is any need for military involvement in the civilian police forces as stated in Article 1. It seems that it would place too much power within the military and allow for "emergencies" to become ways for them to gain power. As for the second Article, I do not think that anyone should be forced to join in the military. By providing for a civilian national service people have options. I would prefer to go farther in the other direction, but it serves as a fine alternative for the moment |

Message | i am sure the people would understand the draft in times of war. It would be far greater for the nation to have a larger military when we are at war then a smaller one. The draft would enhance the safety and security of our citizens. If they would truely complain the draft in times of war and stress in our nation then they care more about themselves than their own lands and fellow Aldegarians |

Message | While a draft in a time of war is not a bad thing, I am a pacifist for the most part and would not like to take any steps towards a militaristic state |

Message | Article 1 would protect our nation in the the most dire of situations. Granted that it could be used wrongly in the wrong hands, but then so could every other aspect of our government. I am not saying it is nessessary, it is just to help protect the citizens in situations to beyond/too dangerous for local police forces |

Message | I understand the position you are taking but it goes against my general ideological principles so I will most likely have to vote against the bill. |

Message | A draft in times of war may be necessary to protect the liberty to not be drafted, ironically. |

Message | An unconditional separation of the military and police forces ignores the possibility of extreme civil emergencies. This bill is entirely legitimate, there is no reason the police cannot be helped if they really need it. |
