MessageLook, we arent going to wrench businesses out of the hands of the workers. Ultimately DWCs are still required to run businesses in most industries, we just want to see it be made optional. The workers themselves will decide how the business is run.

If it makes the communist parties feel any better/get over their paranoia, we (A&L) promise we will vote against any bill that:
1. Bars DWCs from running a business, or
2. Bars workers from joining a union, or
3. Limits unions to such a degree that they cannot defend their members interests through banning industrial action (except in sectors vital to the economy)

We wont vote yes on any bills that increase union power, but we will block any of the above. Unions and Co-Ops still have a role in the economy, we (A&L) want to see the government be the main guardian of workers interests and have DWC ownership be one of many options.

As a gesture of good faith we will even donate to your fund if you will accept it. The right can support Co-Ops too.

MessageThat's the spirit! Maybe that 'labour' title in the party name does have some leftism left inside it!

MessageAll business must be run by the workers, even if by force.

Orelse the workers will face wage slavery.

But sure, we will take your money. Thank you.

Message"even if by force"

So if workers themselves decide against running a business themselves then they are wrong? And if, CFP, you are therein advocating revolution against a democratically elected government then you are straying into territory unbecoming of a party of your stature. We strongly advise you do not act on your words.

We are however pleased you will accept our support for the Co-Ops and hope you can put it to good use.

@ USA: We would have voted against excessive attacks on the unions and DWCs anyway. We are going to stay the course though and our ideology and faith in capitalism is unchanged.

MessageWe concur wholeheartedly with everything A&L has said, and we feel that this purported workers' crisis is yet another manufactured piece of LL hyperbole.

MessageI would like to assure the USA and the LL (if it still can reason without screaming diatribes against capitalists) that the SCI would also show restraint in the same areas that A&L mentioned.

Our goal is not to turn Ikradon into a corporatist state, but simply one in which small business entrepreneurs have more freedom to diversify our economy.

MessageUSA, while allowing people to strike on occassion if it isn't too much bother and allowing businesses to run their own affairs is welcome, it doesn't equate to socialist policies. Merely policies that are nor fascistically oppressive. We welcome AL's. But we believe it is still necessary for Communists to create funds to aid worker's projects. This should be a private exercise.

We welcome the CFP's contribution, and hope to get a promise of solidarity from DT as well.

MessageIf the USA is agreeing with the CFP to the extent that they threaten force, then the USA has taken a new direction indeed.

MessageInsofar as it now matters, USA's stance on force is now silent, and pacifist as it has been. However, let it be known that the new USA might take action without the slightest hesitation, if need be. That is not to say that we will, or are planning that now.

MessageDT will be pledging as much as possible to this Emergency Fund.

If the workers call for it, we will support a revolution.

MessageAh, yes, USA, I didn't see the donation bit.

Now I feel incredibly rude.

We thanks the AL sincerely for their donation. We appreciate the effort to keep this rather large sector of out economy calm in this time where its dominance is questioned. Obviously we can offer them no say in how the money is spent. As this will be administered by a non-party body.
