MessageAs the part that recieved the last IEF nomination, we feel it would not be fair to try and recieve it again, so we will support whoever wins the nomination this time around.

MessageThe SCI has held its party nomination vote and has selected:

SCI Dazlon Chair:
Gennadi Uvarov, a party moderate.

His post-nomination statements:
"The SCI has graciously selected me to run for the IEF nomination for the Chancellorship. It is my sincere hope that, whatever the outcome, we can unite the IEF behind a single candidate and lead the charge to Head of State victory. We all felt the shock from the recent comments and party-shift from the USA. We hope that we can withstand the loss of their support and hold out until more amenable leadership takes hold in the USA once more.

In this Pirmary process, I will stand for continued moves toward a capitalist economy. More freedoms for small business entrepreneurs and an open Agricultural policy, one that will give our rural farmers more freedom and remove all state-run farms, and alleviate the oppressive burden of ecological "green" standards on corporations, which stifle our economy."

MessageThe FFP will nominante

MP Saint-John Cole, a right-leaning FFP member

"I am honored to accept the nomination of my party to run in 3068. My primary concerns at this point are two-fold. First, we must do everything possible to maintain the lawful observance of order in the face of a reckless leftist movement that has taken to threatening violence at every turn. Their rights as political parties to free speech must be upheld, but we must continue to make it clear that politics of the gun are not welcome in Ikradon. Along these liens, we must also work to find common ground with the sensible leftist parties where possible, showing that our intent is to govern responsibly.

Secondly, our educational systems are in dire need of liberalization. We must encourage our universities to innovate and to become just as independent as they were in the days before Leftist League rule. When Ikradonian universities unleash the creative spirit of the Ikradonian people, we all reap the benefits."

MessageIs Mr. Saint-John Cole a relative or descendant of Mr. William Cole.... who I'm sure we've all read about in our history books as the man who led Ikradon through its political drought?

Message--Primary Election results of the IMC--

"The IMC will not present a candidate for Head of State, because we feel with the instability of Ikradon at the present time, because of our lack of preparation, the urgency of elections and our inexperience. we will however be ready to provide a candidate for the next election (August 3072?). we are very grateful for the votes we have recieved despite this.

Our Assembly has voted for the following:

Cole: 80
Uvanonv: 49
IMC: 0

2 abstentions

the assembly feels that at the present time, the process of reform is going well, but requires a strengthening of our hold over the legislative, and securing the 'lawful observance' of the IEF government by the leftist parties, hence our overall support for Cole. the IMC considers the threat of leftist insurgency a danger to economic stability, and to the process of reform. we therefore welcome co-operation with sensible leftist parties.

we will however support the legislative programme of the SCI on Bussiness, Agriculture and the Environment, and FFP's policies for Education. Any and all privatisation, if from our investors point of view, a good thing.

we reccommend much greater communication between IEF parties within the next session to secure the best deal for our citizens.

this brings the current vote to:

Cole (FFP): 194
Uvanov (SCI): 184
[None] (IMC): 8

7 Abstentions

The IMC would like to reccomend Uvanov/SCI for head of government if we form a new cabinet. eqaully, we would like to continue in the Finance Ministry to work out a budget for Ikradon.
