Message | Mr. Speaker, We have no issues with a majority of the bills. However, we feel Article 5 should be done away with. We feel that it is our nation's duty to allow for education to be available to anyone. Monetary issues should not keep the best and the brightest or even those that are above average from getting the best education possible. With the glorious Holy Empire of Aloria investing into our future, we shall be sure to thrive well into the future. I yield. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, We feel that by subsidizing only the low income students the government will be able to save money, especially on those who truly do not need it. We could classify low income for education purposes at a specific income amount, thus allow the government to subsidize all but the wealthy. Would this suffice? I yield. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, While it would, we have a very large surplus currently, that can go around for all. We can support this bill we suppose. I yield. |
Date | 00:54:41, January 30, 2011 CET | From | Republican Party (RM) | To | Debating the Education Reform Act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, We do not support: 3, 8, 9, and 10. I yield. |
Date | 01:11:24, January 30, 2011 CET | From | Plaid Geidwadol Traddodiadol (PGT) | To | Debating the Education Reform Act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, What do you not like about them and what would you rather have instead? I yield. |
Date | 01:31:26, January 30, 2011 CET | From | Republican Party (RM) | To | Debating the Education Reform Act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, Article 3 is an extremely long time to keep people in education and would severely damage the economy. Article 8 is extremely conservative. Children should not be forced to do something, and we are against the forceful singing or listening of the national anthem in schools. Once again, the proposed Article 9 is conservative. We feel all Alorian children should learn important matters such as sexual education. After reconsidering, we would possibly support Article 10. I yield. |
Date | 01:54:21, January 30, 2011 CET | From | Christian Democratic Party | To | Debating the Education Reform Act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, We would have to agree with the Republican representatives when it comes to Article 3. Some students are not ready or able to go through this many years of education. Surely, the current age of 16 is enough to teach our youth the basics of how to act and function in society. Those that do not wish to continue on in their pursuit of knowledge would make perfect laborers in the various factories and service industries in Aloria. Or perhaps even seek training in trade schools to learn necessary skills. We ask that the CMP strike this Article from the bill. I yield. |
Date | 01:56:44, January 30, 2011 CET | From | Plaid Geidwadol Traddodiadol (PGT) | To | Debating the Education Reform Act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, Article 3 is absolutely essential for the future of democracy. The budget can be modified in order to allow all Alorians who are of low income to go to college. Article 8 shows the importance of the nation to Alorian children. Not only is it a cultural lesson, but it is a historical one. If a child desires to opt out of a sexual education class based upon religious or moral reasons, they should have the right to do so. If the ACDP agrees with any of your proposals, then I shall drop them from this bill. I yield. |
Date | 03:02:02, January 30, 2011 CET | From | Republican Party (RM) | To | Debating the Education Reform Act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, The Government should not interfere so much in people's lives. Alorians who want to be educated past the age of 16 will obviously choose to go to higher education. What you used to defend Article 8 goes against what you're promoting in regards to Article 9. People should have a choice. I yield. |
Date | 05:28:21, January 30, 2011 CET | From | Plaid Geidwadol Traddodiadol (PGT) | To | Debating the Education Reform Act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, The government should interfere with the lives of Alorians because most Alorians are not able to make good decisions, just as all humans are. But those who are currently governing have extensive education and leadership experience, thus able to make wise governing decisions that will benefit the nation. Article 9 is in order to defend religious freedom more so than to give children a choice, for religious freedom is the most important freedom of all. I yield. |
Date | 15:20:34, January 30, 2011 CET | From | Republican Party (RM) | To | Debating the Education Reform Act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, The statement made by the gentleman could be considered quite offensive. The Alorian people are able to determine their own lives - that I am quite sure. I yield. |
Date | 15:25:52, January 30, 2011 CET | From | Plaid Geidwadol Traddodiadol (PGT) | To | Debating the Education Reform Act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, All men are stupid, but they can achieve greater prowess through education. The point of educating the people is to ensure the survival of democracy and the end to government intervention in their lives. Teaching the people will allow them to teach themselves. I yield. |
Date | 15:34:55, January 30, 2011 CET | From | Republican Party (RM) | To | Debating the Education Reform Act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, The Republicans urge the Christian Democrats to support is in voting against this bill. Articles 3, 8, and 9 are intolerable. We would support this bill, however, if the Christian Democrats agreed to repeal Articles 3, 8, and 9 support alternatives that we would propose. I yield. |
Date | 15:47:24, January 30, 2011 CET | From | Christian Democratic Party | To | Debating the Education Reform Act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, We are willing to agree with the Republicans in concerns to Article 3 and 9 after much deliberation among ourselves. However, we are at a crossroads with the matters of Article 8, while we do love to have our nation's youth know our beloved anthem, the fact of having them sing it everyday does worry us about the the idea of indoctrination. Therefore, we shall fully agree with the Republicans on the removal of these articles and or some new alternative form of those articles. However, if the Conservative Monarchist wish to got forth with the bill, let them do it as to form a greater image of what their party stands for. I yield. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, It appears that democracy may not be able to survive now. I yield. |
Date | 15:56:41, January 30, 2011 CET | From | Republican Party (RM) | To | Debating the Education Reform Act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, Democracy is exactly what our party is standing for. Simply because your party cannot get its own way in everything it wishes, doesn't mean that the rule of the people is in decline, quite simply the opposite. I yield. |
Date | 15:57:57, January 30, 2011 CET | From | Plaid Geidwadol Traddodiadol (PGT) | To | Debating the Education Reform Act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, Our party also stands for democracy, a constitutional parliamentary monarchy. I yield. |
