Message | Mr. Speaker, Please define what we as the people of Dorvik do not recognize in 'our' society? Dorvik is a free nation, and people here are free nation to worship all kinds of religions, besides violent and brainwashing ones. It would be fair to say that "We should not be in the business of recognising polygamous marriages, forced marriages and other types of marriages we do not accept in our party and its ideology." |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Next the Volkspartei will be demanding we recognise the marriages of those who arrive here from exotic countries claiming to be married to their dogs or goats. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Very amusing indeed. While what 'exotic country' would that be? Since the farthest I've saw was a weasel married to a pineapple. Anyhow excluding from jokes, what my party will demand now is that you speak for yourself. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, I speak in the name of over 100,000,000 Dorvians who voted for the principles my party stands on, as well as the many, many ordinary Dorvians who do not want to see the degradation of the institution of marriage in this country! |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Speaking for over 100,000,000 is one thing, since our party does to; but forcing ideology or slander upon a party is another. We believe in the Catholic religion, but your party and your supporters must understand, there is a division between the nation and the religion. Religion has always been an active part of the Dorvish society and we shall never change that or want to change it, but you must remember there or over 800,000,000 Dorvians living in this nation, and you have 1/8 of them. Does the opinion of the others not matter? |
Date | 03:25:16, February 01, 2011 CET | From | . | To | Debating the Recognition of Foreign Marriages Act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, We are reasonably confident a majority of Dorvians do not want to see reputation of marriage in this country diminished by the official recognition of "married" partnerships between a man and a goat, a man with 12 wives, etc. etc.. |
