Message | Rt Hon Alice Stanhope MP, Lord Chancellor Mr Speaker, this bill is a three line whip (OOC: coalition vote), and it is crucial that this legislation is passed for the coalition to continue. We cannot accept the status quo. Though we understand the fascist bundling forced the Popular Alliance to support this article, we find this law abhorrent and offensive to Hutorian values. This is legislation worthy of the most despicable of dictatorships. OOC: for more information on coalition votes, see here http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=306109 |

Message | Hon Mervyn Peters MP, Leader of the Opposition, Mr Speaker, the PA are no more than sell-outs and a disgraceful example of representative democracy. It was only a few months ago that they voted for this Bill - http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=311147. Within the Bill referenced the status quo was established. Perhaps the PA could explain to the House why they do not stand up for what they believe and vote down this Act and remember who elected them into this House on the policy of opposing Bills such as this. |
