ToDebating the Alorian National Post Act
MessageMr Speaker,

I realise I cannot get a totally national post office past, even this one may be a little hard to get through. But I put forward my case, this Act is still allowing private post agencies to exist but what we are doing is setting up a publicly funded one to compete against it. This comes with a wide range of benefits including: greater competition which will hopefully mean more stamps, better coverage- the government post will have better resources and funding to reach into remote and regional parts of Aloria which the private ones have been neglecting. and of course, this will create more jobs, speeding up our economy. In the second part, the private industry's post office needs to be regulated because we need to control stamp prices to make it affordable for all Alorians not just for the toffs. Also their services need to be regulated, to make sure they're treating their customers and workers well and also to make sure that they service all parts of Aloria not just the flash inner city ones where all the toffs like the members of the NAP live. I hope this is persuasive enough to get through.

I yield.
