MessageWith us far-left not wishing to scrap marriage unions, and the conservatives being their ususal homophobic selves and wanting to bar gays from getting married, I urge the DNP and the LSPD to do te right thing and give homosexuals the same rights and treatment as hetrosexuals

MessageNot my optimal choice, but better than what we have. I would much prefer the government not involve itself in what is essentially a religious ritual, but nonetheless if we must acknowledge marriages then let it be for all marriages.

MessageThe main reason we are in favour of government intervening is to ensure all people are treated equally.

MessageIf we back out of marriage altogether the religious can have their sanctity of marriage and there will be no government discrimination because in the end marriage means the same thing legally as a Catholic first communion or a Bar Mitzvah, simply a religious status and has no legal bearing.

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action.

Random quote: "Economic advance is not the same thing as human progress." - John Clapham
