Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

| The move to displace the LCP from the Presidency has been the work of all parties. And all parties should be rewarded. The breakdown is: PPP & EPK 3 seats each; KWP and FM 2 seats each; IKP, PFK and PMP 1 seat a piece. If the Workers Party requires greater representation, I am prepared to give up one of my Cabinet seats to ensure that we all feel we are being treated fairly. The terms of the "Grand Coalition" are that: 1) no party is permitted to move a motion of no confidence and spill for early elections; 2)If you wish to leave the coalition at any stage, you will advise the Chancellor so that, if possible, your difficulties can be addressed prior to a Cabinet reshuffle; 3)There is no requirement to vote in favour or against any legislation; 4) Manifesto bills (bills relating to more than one subject area or containing more than three articles) are strictly forbidden and all members agree to vote against such bills irregardless of content. |
