| Message | Mr Speaker, What I hope all parties can realise, is that our world is not under threat from this so called "Global Warming. In fact warming is a good thing, an ice Age is what people should fear. Mr Speaker, the Alorian Mountains are sparsely populated and are coastal areas are densely populated. Why? It is because people prefer to live in warmth than cold and if anything we should be preventing us from slipping into an Ice Age, however we cannot because Mother Nature.or if you believe in God, are the judges of that, not us.Even so, I say again, if warming was to happen it would be a good thing, it wouldn't be our fault or choice, so we should sit back and enjoy life as it as. I yield. OOC: I hope after these large snow storms in the UK and I heard there was pretty big ones in the US too, Arizona of all places?! I hope that you can all see through this nonsense that Mr. Al Gore and his UN and EU friends are shoving down our throats, global warming and climate change is normal and right now our world is cooling and if you don't believe me, I will be happy to show you the facts. |

| Message | Mr Speaker, Although we may agree with the PDP on a variety of issues, they are utterly wrong on the subject of climate change/global warming. The climate does change yes, but it is normal, it is not the fault of humans and warming is way better than cooling. Climate Change is not internationally recognised as a scientific fact, actually quite the contrary. Just last year 100,00 leading academics and scientists signed a joint petition (Actually happened in RL) here in Aloria calling on all Terran governments to recognise that GW is nothing more than a baseless lie. I urge all members of the PDP to open their eyes and look into some scientific research done by credible scientists not by posers claiming to be scientists. By the way, that joint statement put out by those so called "scientists" was more like a script for a comedy programme not a scientific paper! It was that ridiculous! I yield. OOC: PDP, no, I actually ask you to read up on the facts of science and history. If there is anything more I like than politics it is history and let me tell you GW and CC are both natural. In the Mid Ages they had a thing called the "Medieval Warming Period" and it was much hotter than it is today. They were growing grapes and making wine in the north of Scotland!. Ever wondered why Greenland is called Green Land? It is because in the MId Ages it was actually green! The Vikings called it Vineland because it was so warm the could grow grapes there! Now its just a barren wasteland. PDP, I cannot believe you are so brain washed about Al Gore's lie. The UN is having panic attacks about 2 degrees of warming.....in 100 Years! If you want warming of more than 2 degrees you can easily do that by moving from Britain to say, Sicily. Are people collapsing in the streets about warming there? No! I'm saying this warming is good, if it was so bad then why isn't Antarctica populated? On the matter of C02, C02 is good for us, it is good for plants, C02 is how we get our oxygen from the trees. Even if it was bad it is a trace gas it is 1/100 of a percent of gases in our atmosphere, that is literally nothing! One volcanic eruption produces more C02 than humans have ever produced, EVER. Is the UN having heart attacks and saying lets destroy all volcanoes somehow? No, they're not. Instead they want to take us back to the Stone Age with no electricity or cars because Al Gore said so. So PDP whoever you are, I urge you to actually think what is happening in reality, we have been having massive snow storms across Europe, Asia and the US. Baghdad recently had snow for the first time in its history! People across the world are waking up to this scam that tree hugging, bug worshiping, cave dwelling hippies like you have been shoving down our throats. Recently a Canadian court found 35 errors in your God Al Gore's propaganda film "An Inconvenient Truth". Come Earth Hour at the end of the month I won't be sitting in darkness for an hour, in fact I'm going to illuminate my house with lights to show that it is just a lie. By the way, as a member of the Young Labour Party, I have already convinced 3 former greenie fanatics in the party into seeing that Global Warming is all nonsense. I hope what I've wrote convinces you or at least gives you some incentive in seeking the truth. |
