| Message | Please bear in mind that Khali'Afar has recently been elected Caliph of the Muslim religion, which is not un-constitutional. Therefore, we appeal to the secular NUP to change their mind about the wisdom of having such a HoS, who has no accountability. ooc: We also appeal to you to get rid of all those damn bills!!! | Message | In fact the Caliphate bill was defeated. We have reintroduced it, and if it passes we can go along with introducing an elected head of state for Al'Badara. Of course we will still see Al'Badara as part of the Islamic umma and hence under the Caliph's overall authority, but this will be in the spiritual realm only. (ooc: the Caliph would be RP'ed according to orders of any parties joining the Muslim League party organization. Electing a head of state could be fun, and it might even be interesting the have the Sultan-Caliph run as a candidate in elections. To be determined if the two bills pass: for me they are a package deal.) |
