MessageMr. Speaker,

What about similar treaties with Telamon, and Al'Badara, and other Terran states? This bill does not go far enough, Luthori should withdraw from most of its current diplomatic agreements that restrict our nation and her legislature.

I yield.

MessageMr Speaker,

We strongly oppose any attempts to withdraw from free trade agreements. We have long stood as a voice in support of Luthorian superiority, isolationism and non-intervention. However, this does not mean that we cannot have any friends and our relations with other countries are cemented by the free trade agreements we have with them. Free trade should be a case by case issue and this is exactly what we have done.

Furthermore, all treaties that Luthori currently is a signatory of exist in the context of a delicate and complex diplomatic situation and as in charge of the foreign ministry, we would greatly appreciate if parties were to ask members of the foreign office and ministry to testify before the Diet and hold hearings before acting hastily.

I yield.

MessageMr. Speaker,

This is the 1st of many!

I would like to pint out that the Constitutionalists Imperial League helped push it down in this house and thus he will not support repeal.

I yield.

MessageMr. Speaker,

Free trade agreements and treaties, containing legislation of international law or not, are not essential to Luthori's relations with other nations, and what the CIL said is complete and utter nonsense - to be frank, I am quite sure that the signatories simply forget about them once they aresigned.

I would also like to ask, Mr. Speaker, how the CIL think that isolationism and non-intervention could possibly lead to 'Luthorian superiority'? There are some dangerous parties within the Holy Imperial Diet and I hope that the people reject you, and I can say with confidence that LPP foreign policy would put Luthori in a much stronger position than the precarious one Luthori is in now.

I yield.

MessageMr Speaker,

The LPP's hostility is unwarranted, especially since it is a very recent party which has never run anything. The CIL has been existence for more than 400 years and has held the foreign ministry for a large proportion of those years while increasing the size and power of the Empire. Our record speaks for itself and our experience gives us wisdom.

The CIL did not claim that isolationism led to Luthorian superiority. Luthorian superiority is a given, the Empire is the greatest nation on Terra but our refrain from excessive foreign entanglements has allowed us to devote all resources towards our own country without intervening in petty foreign squabbles which do not concern us.

Luthori is not the world's policeman and not shall not become the world's policeman.

I yield.

MessageMr. Speaker,

The fact that the people have put so much faith into our party shows that the current parties, considered by themselves as part of the establishment and have become lazy due to lack of opposition, are clearly distraught by the fact that new parties have won support.

Luthori's power has diminished and is almost non-existant. Alduria replaced the Emperor as head of state, and the situation in Beiteynu is also questionable.

We did not say we wanted to make Luthori the world's policeman, we want Luthori to become strong and respectable again, something that will not happen without a considerable change in government.

I yield.

MessageMr Speaker,

To suggest that Luthori's power is almost non existent is simply an idiotic statement. The current mpa of Luthori's overseas colonies proves that: http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100327165256/particracy/images/thumb/3/3d/Holy_Luthori_Empire_-_2914.png/830px-Holy_Luthori_Empire_-_2914.png along with the fact that we have the world's most powerful navy.

MessageADDENDUM: 28 seats out of 201 hardly translates as "so much faith". Furthermore, a commoner has no place lecturing the aristocrats of this realm. Prove your worth, be ennobled by the Emperor and then speak to us as an equal, the leaders of the so-called "establishment parties" have all had their merit recognized through ennoblement by His Imperial and Most Excellent Majesty the Emperor and have been granted the grandest fiefs of the Empire, which is much more than what any "People's Party" can claim.

MessageMr. Speaker,

All current Free-Trade treaties were signed before the LPP was founded. We oppose any future free-trade agreements but feel it necessary to leave the ones in place. Removing Luthori from a treaty so hastily makes us look bad and could hurt relations with the other country. this is our reasoning behind voting no.

I Yield.
