Message | OOC: Barmenian French has two very distinct dialects, Royal and Popular. Royal Barmenian French is French with slight influences from Barmenistan's many other languages and uses English grammar. Barmenian Popular French is a hybrid of French, Haitian and Louisiana Creoles, and English. BPF is mostly spoken as a casual language in communities with a high number of immigrants and internationalists. RBF is the standard form of French taught in schools and is widely spoken in more diverse communities. Anti-Luthori has led to Terran becoming the more common name for the RL English language. Terran is most commonly spoken in communities with less anti-Luthori sentiment. |
