MessageCannabis is a gateway drug. Where drugs are legal or accepted, there is usually violence and crime. Most provinces desire the safety of their streets; therefore, provinces should have the right to toss the legality of cannabis or any drugs once the situation gets out of hand.

MessageIt's a plant, a plant which causes less health problems than tobacco and alcohol, one that treats over 200 ailments, some of the common ones being nausea, glaucoma and muscle spasms, and associating it with violence and crime is ridiculous. How is cannabis more of a gateway to drugs than alcohol and tobacco, their all psychologically addictive, its not even physically addictive like they are. And I'm not saying we should do away with all tobacco and alcohol, because that's just as bad as my problem with cannabis, why is it alright for any government, local or national, to tell a person what he can put into his body?

MessageWe here at the Highazhell party encourage the spread of factual information to Rutanians, we need to work to dis spell misconceptions about marijuana, like that its a gateway drug, it could cause violence and crime, and that it makes our streets less safe. This way of thinking is out of date, and for a good reason, theirs never been any proof of any of it, although we do recommend the movie Reefer Madness for the Horowitz Party, very similar beliefs they both have.

MessageThe Horowitz Party wishes only that local governments may have the power to toss the legality of cannabis if need be. If the Highazhell Party perused the Horowitz Party's voting record, they shall find the Horowitz Party consistent with this philosophy with regards to alcohol and tobacco use as well. The harm these substances may cause to the person ingesting them is of no concern to the Horowitz Party; however, the Horowitz Party believe that the harm these substances may induce a person to do against his fellows is of sufficient risk to institute measures against it.

If drugs did not muddle minds and, therefore, did not pose a risk to others, the Horowitz Party would fully support this bill.
