| We believe that it is necessary we update our Air Force and Navy equipment to the best of our abilities. Having commissioned larger taxes that already are used for good things like helping the environment or developing better educational programs and technologies we believe they should also be used to benefit the people's safety and option for defense. Using the additional taxes that are left over (a small margin of course for the rest to be left over for emergencies) and the defense budget we propose to order the following naval vessels and aircraft for the benefit of defense and protection of the people: NAVAL ORDERS --Aircraft Carriers-- *Vinisk-Class - 10 (To replace the current 3 in service) *Eth-Class - 20 (New) --Amphibious Warfare Carriers-- *Mothar-Class - 12 (To replace the current 12 in service) --Cruisers-- *Egbert-Class - 18 (To replace the current 18 in service) *Kordusia-Class - 52 (New) --Destroyers-- *Kordaw-Class - 30 (To replace current 30 Thera-Class in service) *Paddock-Class - 10 (New) *Lissenfield-Class - 10 (New) Project X22 - 30 (To include the one in testing.) --Battleships-- *Citadel-Class - 30 (New) *Nia-Class - 35 (New) *Valu-Class - 10 (new) --Submarines-- *Haldor-Class - 3 (To be added into the older fleet of 12) *Fairfax-Class - 20 (To be added into the older fleet of 20) *Dorvan-Class - 30 (New) This project of modernizing the Navy would consume DDO 4.85 Trillion of the Defense and Surplus budget. Please note, that although the class bares the same name it will have modern updates to its design to make it as of todays standards. The deal would be finished with the last ship being delivered in 3105 allowing for a quite speedy delivery due to most of Dorvik's ship yards being involved in the contract. Upon completion of the modernization program the Dorvish Navy would have 352 vessels in service effectively being the most powerful, most modern, and largest Navy on Terra. It is a state-owned defense industry therefore the deal overall invovles directly paying for the labor used in producing the aircraft. The supplies, machinery and anything else will be covered by the defense budget, but overall the cost of the modernization project will be DDO 2.185 Trillion. Upon finalizing the deal which would be due on 3110 the Air Force of Dorvik would compose of 4,263 being one of the largest if not the largest Air Force on Terra and one of the most powerful forces. The deal calls for DDO 7.08 Trillion out of our defense budget and extra surplus budget. According to our surplus and defense budget we are fully capable to fund this project which would put Dorvik as one of the most powerful nations on Terra. Its a one time spending which would last us for years to come. OOC: I understand some parts of this may seem a little extreme but it really is not. Everything is kept as realistic as possible and most of this is based on research I did. Its mostly based off of the United States Air force and Navy with a added twist. It might seem quite a big amount to spend, its most of our GDP overall right there, but lets just pretend we have budgets filled with cash that have been just sitting there for years waiting to be used - and just use it right now! ;) |

| Message | OOC: I wouldn't claim to be the most powerful in anything. Really, no nation is the most powerful or the weakest in anything. The mods ultimately control all of that. Besides, GDP has A LOT to do with how powerful a nation is. That is being realistic. By looking at the nations in this game whose GDPs are in the multi-trillions (near 20 and above), they are the ones who have more of an ability to state their power. |
